Project Runway: Michael Wins By Default
Project Runway is the only reality show worth watching. (I used to have my own custom shop.) What are the judges smoking on Project Runway??? Baby Factory better get sent home next week, all I can say. Kane can be tacky, but at least he has range (the Monroe dress?… that couture skirting?). Laura is a technically superb sewer, but her designs just aren’t. Her design last night was shit. Young? For who? Eunice Shriver? They all look like Butterick pattern versions of vintage Givenchy. Boe. Ring.
From the very first selection show, I’ve been loving Michael. Those dresses were sublime and intricate. He is so superior to all the others that I’m sure Bravo edited the show just to keep some air of mystery to the finale. (And I want me one of those Pam mutha-suckin Grier outfits!)
Jeffrey: Kors was so right-on in his bitchy crit. Gwen Stefani called, she wants her L.A.M.B. back. 99.999999987% of this country is not a rock star in L.A. Also, Jeffrey can’t win because I.N.C. would never have him.
Uli: I hate Miami. You are so talented (the mom challenge!), now please design for someone other than celebutantes. You use the same silhouette! And South Beach Lear-trash only accounts for 0.0000053% of the population.
Laura: Just grab your black tutrtleneck, wire rim shades, Starbuck’s travel mug, Escada credit card, and DVD of American in Paris and go back to whatever Upper East side yup-hole you crawled out of. You have nothing to say, maybe Club Monaco will hire you.

I’m a PA in L.A. and ccan I just say that Laura is the walking stereotype of every ad exec/graphic artist/architect, etc. You nailed it with that sentence. Especially the Escada. Spooky.

I have hated baby factory since the very beginning. She can sew. So what?!?!?! All here designs look like something I’ve seen before…at Spiegal. Give me a break.

Hilarious lol!! Michael stays to himself. He never says anything, except when Kayne was going to far in the Black and White Challenge. He is so unselfish, and helps everybody out. Not to mention, his designs are out of this world. I’m tired of Laura and her big mouth to match the Belly. She needs to Zip it….cuz if she really wants to know what “serious ugly” is then she needs to take a look at her designs.

I LOVE Jeff… He is my fav… but the judges from the start love Micheal.. so I think he will win….I CANT stand the baby factory,,, she gets under my skin… and he designs ALL look the same….

Michael, you designed a dress on Project Runway made of household items (i.e. coffee filters). I loved the dress and would like to purchase it in fabric. Do you have a design of this caliber? If so, how might i purchase it?
