Gordon Ramsay: Cool, Cooler than Fox
I don’t understand how any one could NOT loveGordon Ramsay. Then I watched Hell’s Kitchen. That show is awful; it’s nothing like his BBC show! In his BBC show, Ramsay spends one week at a flailing restaurant, whipping it into shape.
Yeah, he’s an asshole. He breaks down cocky line cooks into mush, only to build them back up. He tells owners what stupid wankers they are for all of their bad business decisions. But he helps scour disgustingly unsafe kitchens, elbows in the dirty water. He picks out the kids with talent and encourages them. He makes sense, and he’s always right.
Over half of restaurants wouldn’t fail, if Gordon Ramsay couldapprove a restaurant before it opened. (Funny how that stat is the same here and across the pond) So Tivo the show on themost excellent BBC America. But be warned, you’ll never eat in Glouster again.
Or click here if you don’t have Tivo, Phillistine.
