• thinkwine.com  Behind the gut splitting gags and chomping sarcasm is a message from the heart. My friends and their attempt at wine candor.
• Vino Keeno  A very cool, fun, straight forward site with lots of wine reviews and less talk of boring things like shipping regs and blah blah blah…
• Kiss My Bitter Ass  bitterwaitress.com may be NYC-centric, but bitterness is universal. And because ergo only other industry people can possibly know what it’s like.
• Movable Feast  Louisa went to the Cordon Bleu and works in a Michelin star adorned joint in gay Paris. Reading her is like virtual binging.
• Vinoteca Online  Fiorenzo owns a wine shop in Genova and gives great wine advice for those who love the boot. (ed. note: site is in Italian)

• ExtraMSG.com  A Portland blog and food guide. Very helpful and like-minded, no stick-up-the-ass Chowhounders here.
• Scott Paul’s Winemaker Blog  One of my fav OR Pinots, I expect (hope for) lots of geeky posts come harvest.
• Basic Juice  Beau’s a kindred spirit in that he, too, feels it’s possible to talk about wine and not sound like a pompous ass. But he’s more wide-eyed and innocent.
• The Caveman  “As wine freaks we tend to overlook that wine is the accessory, not the raison d’être.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Procrastinating

• vlogmap.org  My Broham & friend Pete made this satellite searchable database of vlogs from around the world. Theirs is lean back vids. I’m also addicted to Mahmood in Bahrain.
• Midwestern Values PAC  Al Franken’s political action commitee focuses on Minnesota, but benefits all
• Patches  Slightly twisted but adorable mole/vole/bear/rabbit shenanigans, new cartoons TUE/WED/THU
• The Mighty Boosh  One of my new favorite TV shows. Indescribably delicious.
• Quotulatiousness  He has a nack trolling for QotD’s, and he likes sci-fi and wine
• Ricky Gervais…Obviously  The original creator of The Office has a podcast. I’m sorry. Did you need more of an excuse to click?
• boingboing.net  If you don’t know about this site, well then you’re just not the time waster I thought you were.
• McSweeney’s  Changing publishing one beautifully bound book at a time and worth it for their “Lists” alone. Thank you David Eggers.
• Grocery List Collection  Found and donated grocery lists, a strangely fascinating site
• The Cult of chuckpalahniuk.net  What started out as a sorta un-healthy obsession has led to the best fan site on the Internet, dedicated to the sickly talented and all-around-sweetest-famous-guy-ever, Chuck.
• Jeff Fucking Bridges.com  Because not all famous people suck.
