In a strip mall on Lander, behind Earthwise sits Jones Bar-B-Que (I prefer the hyphens, I guess) my favorite in the immediate area of Seattle. I won’t say best because it’s a personal matter of geographic specificity. BUT, they are conveniently located to my daily activities and are from the sauce should be spicy and flavorful not scorching and anaesthatizing school. Their pork ribs are also tremendously meaty, and their brisket is tenderrrrrrrrrr.

These are the guys that used to be at Safeco field, but not anymore. But if you go to the upper deck, at the very end of left field, you’ll now find an outpost of Dixie’s Bar-B-Que, my favorite Bellevue Que. Yes, I’m aware of that oxymoron.

Dixie’s is home of The Man, though. It’s this so-hot-it’s-stupid sauce with which they goad unsuspecting males. “You wanna meet The Man?” No, you don’t. Dixie’s good. Man bad. He’s a very bad man.
