Mr Rolland helped the French wine industry TASTE MORE LIKE CALIFORNIA. As far as Parker, he served a purpose... for awhile. He's overstretched his "democratization of the industry." He lopped the head off a certain kind of tyranny, only to replace it with his own.

We're on the same page. We prefer MADE wine to MANUFACTURED juice. And yes, I include the precious Chateau Le Gay and Opus One as MANUFACTURED JUICE.

But one day, Taj, after we've defeated Jabba the Critic, and you and I have taken over, we too will be subjects of ire to younger contenders to the throne of taste.

I will not go quitely, though. And I bite.

M. Rolland helped the French Wine Industry. Robert Parker bolstered the U.S wine industry and brought down the Great French Idols. Enologix will help California wine makers make the wine people want.

I'm so freaking tired of hearing these "points". Did no one read Faust in high school? There's always a price for these legs-up that isn't as apparent as the "benefits"...
Oh, FFS, I should just rant on my own damn blog.

Grrr,
