Herbal remedies suffer from the label of junk science, yet many time honored traditions predate not only modern medicine, but also agrarian society. Chamomile tea for sleeping and bitter herbs for digestion we accept. But St. John’s Wart for depression, we’re not convinced. That’s because, just like Benadryl or caffeine or alcohol, herbs effect us all differently.

The key to herbs is finding out what works for you. And not screwing up your liver.
