I for one am glad the Broken Rake is back. It is much more hopped than I recall it in the past. I delight in your beer writing because while it is obvious you have a palate and knowledge of the subject, you are not constricted by its conventions. Not part of the scene, as you’ve said. That might be why I don’t anticipate my Northwest Brewer’s News so hotly anymore.

Well done, very well done. I shied away from Fish Tale because I thought it was hippie beer. It is and it;’s also delicious.

I may, albeit grudgingly, have to revisit the Broken Rake. So rare that Pyramid really steps up and makes anything flavorful, but if they have, they have. Thanks for the tip. Glad I found your blog. I hope my brain manages to remember to bring me back.
Cheers!
