What would we do without rich people?
I hate malls. I never partake. I avoid even the mall theaters if possible. But I had to go to the mall today. Not just the mall, the Whitey McWhite mall in the mother of all suburbs. And I saw this sign:
Employees are parking offsite for your convenience
What prompted this sign? Lots of rich women complaining of the lack of parking, that’s what. Unable to promptly make their spa appointments, punctuality-challenged while trying to attend the Nordstrom white sale, kept from "doing lunch" in a timely manner, deprived of keeping their Mercedes within sight-line of the mall entry–all because of the peons that serve them. Why should they be allowed to use mall parking? Let them park somewhere else. I’m really busy.
Maybe I’ve worked in the service industry too long.
