Love Pixar, hate Disney. Love Pixar, hate Disney. But I think this movie is going to be so freakin’ cute. How’d they pitch this one? “Gastrorat in France?” “It’s like Sideways, but with vermin?” Imagine Frank Bruni, redrawn as a rodent with Grover-like coloring?

My one beef (and I know it was you Disney) is that they deep sixed the accents. Come on! It worked in The Rescuers. You know and I know what happened there. Disney is such a wimp. Il dit nouille boitement en Francais.

I just got it. The french. That’s why Disney wimped. I thought you were having a moment, but you’re right…this could be one of the best movies about food since Delicatessan.
