No Guilt Bailey’s: Ritter Sport Irish Coffee
Like chocolate and peanut butter, tomato and mozzarella, or tequila and lime…..some unions are blessed. I think it’s the Irish in me, but I crave Bailey’s November through January. It’s not the alcohol. You’ll get sick off the stuff before you get drunk. It’s the smell. It’s the creamy, rich, spicy, slightly sharp flavors.
And now I am totally screwed because of this product you see before you. Chocolate? And Baileys? Together? I’m buying this by the case. For those who’ve never had the pleasure of sampling one of Ritter Sport’s bazillion flavors, these are little chocolate blocks ranging from milk to dark, with flavors like Knusperflakes (cornflake), Cappucino, Ganze Mandel (whole crunchy roasted almond), and my old favorite Blutorange und Joghurt (Blood Orange Yogurt). But now, now….Irish Freakin Coffee. You can find most flavors at: www.germandeli.com. Or, order any of your favorites from a shop that already carries the little buggers.
What wine would I drink with this? Um….Chateau Bushmill’s?
