This year’s 3rd annual Menu For Hope benefits the United Nations’ World Food Programme. It’s a project started by Chez Pim, and I’ve elected to participate this year because of you, my readers. Last year, I was humbled by the amount of money you all donated when I asked.

So I’ll take advantage of you, again. Feed the world, and maybe yourself. Donate just $10 to Menu of Hope and get a raffle ticket for a number of fabulous prizes thunk up by bloggers like me (more details below). Of course, I think you’ll be partial to mine:

MY ITEM, Code# WB06 : - I wanted to give something that paid tribute to my grapey goddess Nebbiolo, and took it from there. So it’s a Northwest by Northwest tribute to two of my favorite places in the world–Piedmont and my home, Washington state.

Not as high concept as it sounds, the hearty food tradition of Piedmont comes alive in autumn and worships mushrooms, truffles, and whole grains like risotto and farro. Up here in the Northwest, our dank autumns bring on a shroom cornucopia, and our truffles? Well, though not quite legendary, they are delicious.

In the comment section of the form, DO NOT FORGET towrite: WB06, that’s W-B-Zero-Six. add “the wine offensive” if you like to be sure. No money is handled by us. Your funds go straight to an independent DOT ORG.

It’s not exactly one-click, but it’s worth it.
And I know my little miscreants are good for it.
