What to drink this memorial day weekend? Hmm, a weekend of rememberance for those who have died for something and nothing. May I suggest you go for good ole US of A bubbles and join the fight to kick our ignorant, arrogant president out of office:
The now infamous “Downing Street Memo” that contains evidence Bush was planning an attack on Iraq(nay, he had a full on agenda) way before going to Congress finally broke our news media. A FULL TWO WEEKS+ after it was in the London Times. Liberal media my ass. Judicial commitee chairman John Conyers, Jr promises to invoke a Resolution of Inquiry if he gets 100,000 citizen responses. Do not comment to his post, follow the link to the letter and fill in the blanks at the bottom. I can’t think of a better way to honor and support our troops.
On a different Bushie note, I’ve adored Nine Inch Nails for over 15 years, and Trent Reznor still provides me with new reasons to love and obsess over him:
MTV won’t let him perform with a GWB backdrop, but they’ll let no talent hacks on stage parading dozens of midgets. MTV you suck. And rock is dead, except for the few who have rocked in the past and continue to rock–like Trent Reznor. Any band formed after 1999 can’t rock; they can only post-rock. Rock is dead. The pussies over at MTV killed it years ago.

rock is not dead. it has just gone and hidden from the commercial assholes like MTV and radio. if you want rock i can give it to you. its more fun this way anyway. plus, judas priest and queensryche are playing the white river ampitheater in july!
